Are you brushing your teeth too aggressively?

We have been taught that brushing regularly helps to keep cavities away. However, aggressive brushing can ruin your pearly whites. If you use a hard-bristled toothbrush, you really hurt your teeth.

Main points about aggressive brushing:

– Irritates the gums, pulls back gum tissue, exposes roots, and can even loosen teeth.

– Wears the enamel and exposes the dentin.

– Only brush twice per day for two minutes and always use a soft toothbrush.
